Protecting lawns and paving
- Rubber tracks and low ground pressure help — the R10 lists 25.53 kPa.
- Use track mats or plywood over lawns and pavers.
- Avoid sharp turns on turf; make gentle three-point turns.
Plan the order
- Demolition and removal — old paving, lawns, garden edging.
- Earthworks — levels, retaining walls, drainage, reticulation trenches.
- Hard landscaping — paths, paving bases, edging.
- Soil and planting — bring in soil, shape beds, plant trees.
- Finishing — mulch, turf and clean-up.
Perth soil tips
