Matching attachments to Perth ground

  • Coastal sand: wide mud bucket and tilt bucket.
  • Limestone and caprock: ripper first, breaker for solid rock.
  • Perth Hills gravel and clay: toothed digging bucket and rake.

Mechanical vs hydraulic

Mechanical attachments (like a fixed thumb or mechanical quick change) are simpler and cheaper. Hydraulic versions are controlled from the seat and need auxiliary hydraulics on the machine.
