As a rough guide: the R06 and R10 (around 1 tonne and under) suit tight-access and indoor work; the R13 to R22 (1.2–2 tonne) are the sweet spot for landscaping, footings and trenching on residential blocks; and the R32 to R82 (3.3–8.2 tonne) handle bigger earthmoving and civil jobs. What engines do Rippa excavators use?
R-series mini excavators use Kubota diesel engines — for example the Kubota Z482 in the R06 and R10, the D722 in the R13 and R15, and the D902 in the R18. Kubota engines are covered by an Australia-wide engine warranty.
Do the excavators come with a quick hitch?
The R10, R13, R15, R18, R22 and R32 PRO are listed with a hydraulic quick hitch, so swapping buckets and attachments is fast. Check each product page for the full list of inclusions.
Which attachments fit my machine?
